Has to be more than a couple of weeks since my last reflective post.. Moving apartments, long days in the office and many failed attempts to snatch free wi-fi from the brooklyn air are a few accountable reasons for this.
A few weeks ago I was immersed in the world of model casting, from organising the shooting, profiling and archiving of 420 models in a day, to tracking and cataloguing model portfolios as they come and go from the studio. A crazy process which ultimately ends up with the names of handful of decent looking people scrawled on a post it note. It's been a great experience.
I've been involved in a few projects conceptualising in-store ad campaigns, marketing materials and various forms of internal communications for the same brand, all of which seemed to go really well. The overwhelming volume of work for a single client tends to allow you to get a real feeling for the brand, not having to divert, and ultimately dilute your attention on other projects. It's certainly made it easier to produce good, brand consistent work.
