Time to reflect on the 'big idea' brief and my progress towards a final solution. I'm working on a number of concepts that expand upon the perception of religion in a modern society.
Having become aware of the vastness of atheist belief within a supposedly 'religious' society - I am inclined to explore the idea of the 'general', (and I use the term very lightly) consensus of both the value and understanding of religion as an influential cultural force.
My next challenge is to approach the brief with a view to creating a piece of work that is engaging, interactive and informative - something that I feel can be applied to this concept very well. Be it positive or negative, everyone has assumptions regarding religion.
Social taboo is a massive factor in such an area, no one likes to be seen or heard disagreeing with the age old principles of the many religions of the world - as, unarguably, many religious teachings and laws are adopted to govern the lives of a large percentage of mankind.
