Entering the final term of my university life on Monday, thought I’d take the time to write a reflective piece on my general attitude towards making the most of such a short yet important final leg.
Throughout all of my posts there has been a strict theme of academic progression and generally, the mention of others comes only formally, in a professional context.
I’d like to document my thoughts on ‘striking the balance’ at university. It seems within the graphic design industry, advice given to you whilst still at uni goes along the line of ‘enjoy yourself, you’re only at university once.’ An agreeable statement indeed, especially for those looking for a guilt free, convincing excuse for ‘another night out with the lads.’
So, for the sake of looking back on this blog in months to come, I’ve decided to pay tribute to the many characters and otherwise unattainable social situations I’ve found myself surrounded by for the past three years, things we all tend to gloss over when worrying about that final deadline.
So instead of a dreary, fearful post about the ‘big wide world’ looming over me, I’d like to say ‘cheers’ to everyone who’s been a part of a top three years.
